Here's one of my Macro skills on Mantis in action.
Good Macro photography needs understanding first the habitat of each insect . There's certain time each insect at thier best moment.... some more active after rainny days...sunny day...morning...etc...
Second step study the location lighting & lenses we going to use. Some fine white & silver foil is good for reflector job....which can bring more detail in side or backlighting photography.
Finally, composition & creative presentation gurantee makes your results unique than others never done before.
.....just my test pratical on free personal Sunday photo outing in Penang......
