i'm having a dilemma whether they are cute or gross, since i'm real grossed out by insects for reasons i cannot possibly make out. but it's so fat and cute!

All my macro is outdoor shoot, I don't do indoor macro because
not natural although indoor will be more clean in reflections.
Maybe indoor macro insect only good for school science subject
study but if we as a professional nature shooter, we must pratice
outdoor which also won't spoil thier nature habitat.
If indoor, means those photographer already ' kidnap ' them bring
home...so cruel..so un-natural....lol !
( No offence those did indoor macro insect shots...i just share
my way, my opinion, o.k )

Natural outdoor with three unit Nikon macro wireless flash
is my choice and my teaching to all others friends over here....

...ya,
3-D quality once at perfect lighting control & placing at perfect angle.
This is not real sunlight although it was taken at outdoor.
I set-up three wireles Macro light SU-800 & two unit SB-R200.

Same teory like studio table-top jewellery ring shots...every Macro lense can go nearer...but it
take art of lighting control once you shoot 3-D jewellery....not easy.

No matter we use Canon or Nikon, they are just a back-up tools....another 40% is our lighting
control skills that need to be study depends on different subject.

I couldn't find pretty model like your place, so i look for ugly Caterpilar as my pratical 3-D lighting.
Everything around us actually is a good subject to learn....that's why I shoot anything in my gallery.
Hmmmm...i think i haven't shot ' nude '....lol !
